The daughter of Jacob Piatt Dunn, Caroline Dunn was a resident of Indianapolis, Ind. She was a librarian, and spent much of her career (1939-1973) at the William Henry Smith Library of the Indiana Historical Society. She wrote numerous articles, and a booklet on her father's work on the Miami Indian language. From the description of Collection, ca. 1870-1992. (Indiana Historical Society Library).
